How to tie your Steele Halter

Place the halter on the horse making sure the tail end is over the horse's neck and behind the ears.

  1. Thread the copper end through the side loop  from the "horse side" to the outside.
  2. Pass the end between the loop and the horse's head going from right to left.
  3. Slip the copper end between the loop and the doubled rope (from step 2).
  4. Pull the end firmly so the knot is tight,. The copper end should be pointing toward the horse's tail.
